Democratic Party of Korea leader Kim Min-seok, appearing on the party's official YouTube channel 'Democratic Party TV' on the 14th, said that the wave of criticism of President Lee Jae-myung within the ruling camp was "similar to the omens seen when forces inside and outside joined forces to try to impeach former President Roh Moo-hyun around the time he was settling into his first year in office." He added, "While I could understand it coming from those outside, there are times when I find this rather absurd," and "We need to stay sharp right now and unite our strength together."

His remarks came in response to comments by philosopher Kim Yong-ok, known as Do-ol, who appeared on the same broadcast. Kim Yong-ok said, "President Lee Jae-myung is a man of tireless effort, and even if he has minor flaws, this is not the time to judge him. This is a time to take a step back and watch, a time for us to come together as one force and achieve harmony." Leader Kim responded, "You said that this is a time for us to unite our strength, not to criticize," and "It is a time to pull together, push him forward, and retie our shoelaces."

Leader Kim said he would continue pursuing an alliance with progressive parties. President Lee, too, on the 13th retweeted a post on his X account by Park Tae-hoon, chairman of the Progressive Party's student committee, about 'Yoo Si-min's curse,' responding, "Not a single word of what you said is wrong."
