A Samsung battery-powered vacuum cleaner raised 18.75 million won.

An aggregate of 80 crowdfunding campaigns from 66 companies with public data shows that small appliances and practical household goods are driving the biggest hits — yet one product outperformed all expectations. That star was the 'Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Samsung Battery, Up to 550W, Auto Dust-Emptying' from Nowhome Co. Close behind were a space-themed toy created through a collaboration between Playmobil and the European Space Agency (ESA), which raised 15.58 million won, and 500-gram king peaches, which brought in 15.7 million won.

Value-for-Money Small Appliances and Household Goods Dominate the Top Ranks

Looking at the top fundraisers, a common thread emerges. Runnerfit's '18,900 Won Running Full Set' raised more than 8.96 million won, Audiobooks' limited-edition audiobook exceeded 4.58 million won, and SSOKON's AI content production offering also succeeded in raising around 3.8 million won.

The mid-range tier shows a clear pattern as well. Truvo's anti-theft travel sling bag recorded 2.92 million won, while Simyeon's Library's tarot and numerology textbooks hit 2.97 million won. Both of Simyeon's Library textbooks raised between 1.6 and 3 million won, demonstrating that knowledge content turned into merchandise — hard to find in offline bookstores — is gaining traction in the funding market.

Repeat Encore Campaigns and Fandom-Driven Spending Spread

Data from People Korea Co. still carries phrases like '25th encore' and '22nd encore.' The key point is that a 3-way convertible leather bag raised over 1.3 million won, and towels are being sold through repeated rounds. Expressions such as 'Wadiz exclusive,' 'first release,' and 'debut launch' also appear repeatedly across multiple campaigns. It is a signal that crowdfunding is evolving from a one-time purchase channel into a recurring market layered with repeat purchases and encore runs.

SMS posted the most listings of any single company, with five campaigns. While its MagSafe, Apple, and Galaxy-compatible fast charger stopped at around 70,000 won, a 10,000-won-range compression pouch raised more than 360,000 won, proving that low-priced products can secure plenty of backers. LOOK AT ME also succeeded with all four of its everyday-use products — cooling boxer briefs, silicone body shower pads, and wrist-mounted smartphone holders — each raising between 450,000 and 500,000 won.

Agri-Food and AI Tools Advance at Opposite Ends

The advance of the food sector is also notable. Onwa's king peaches — premium fruit sold in 500-gram units rather than per piece — climbed to the very top with 15.7 million won. Fruit Master recorded 900,000 to 1.33 million won for both its new grape variety 'Purlady' and its 'Summer King' apples, while Greenpick kept up steady sales with peach and plum compote and pie. A charcuterie plate from Yuhyeonggon raised 870,000 won, confirming demand for unprocessed artisan foods.

Several AI-powered products were also observed, notably Soon sak Tool's AI short-form video maker and Algoricism's AI service builder for non-developers. The fact that SSOKON's AI content production raised 3.8 million won suggests generative AI, as a practical tool, can open backers' wallets. Still, the individual fundraising totals of these products have yet to match the top-tier small appliances.

Outlook: Precise Niches Beat Mass Appeal

The conclusion running through the entire dataset is clear. Rather than big-company generic products, extremely narrow niches — 'peaches as big as king-sized fruit,' 'towels for long hair,' 'towels for commuters, not for long hair' — are the ones that reliably draw support. If Emily Dickinson said to tell the truth slant, the crowdfunding market is structured so that products aiming straight at a niche become the winners.

In the second half of the year, apparel with fall and winter seasonal appeal, substitute demand for briefly disappeared cooling products, and resale of proven products with stacked encore rounds are all expected to increase simultaneously. AI tool products are at the stage where growth in backer numbers must be confirmed before fundraising size. What the 80 data points show is that rather than one big swing, multiple precisely targeted small products sustain the market.
