Criticism has arisen even within the People Power Party (PPP) that the words and actions of Reps. Kim Tae-gyu, Lee Jin-sook, and Ju Jin-woo are short-sighted. Rep. Bae Hyun-jin said on CBS Radio's 'Park Sung-tae's News Show' on the 14th that raising one's political stature through provocative material is "a very short-sighted effort," adding that "for a conservative party to become healthy, it must make efforts to get closer to the average mindset of the majority of citizens." She also expressed regret over the reality that lawmakers who lean toward the center are losing their presence.

The controversy began with remarks by the three lawmakers. On the 6th, during a National Assembly audit of the Supreme Court, Rep. Kim Tae-gyu drew backlash when he mentioned Owl Rock, where former President Roh Moo-hyun died, saying, "Let's create our own 'Truth of Owl Rock.'" Rep. Lee Jin-sook caused a stir when she raised suspicions of violations of the Farmland Act regarding the gravesites of President Lee Jae-myung's parents, visiting the graves herself to take photographs. Rep. Ju Jin-woo posted a social media comment saying, "When we cut off Lee Jae-myung," and has not backed down, explaining that it referred to calling for impeachment.

Regarding this, PPP Rep. Seo Ji-young said on KBS Radio's 'Lightning Current Affairs' on the 14th, "It is a very regrettable thing, and something we should be ashamed of and apologize for before the people." She went on to say that the Democratic Party should first reflect on President Lee Jae-myung's remarks concerning former President Park Geun-hye. "The proliferation of extreme language across the political sphere is something all of us politicians must guard against and reflect on together," she emphasized.
