"We cannot assume that all of today's work will remain necessary." Oracle co-CEO Mike Sicilia predicted at the annual 'AI World' event on the 28th (local time) that AI will transform the very way companies operate. Sicilia emphasized that we must ask how much of the work we take for granted today will actually still be needed going forward. He also said AI will give people more time to live as human beings.

Oracle's recruiting team is using agentic AI to complete market research preparation tasks in 15 to 20 minutes — work that previously took two to four days. Oracle believes AI has moved past the experimental stage and into real-world deployment.

The company also unveiled a strategic field demand planning tool for HR and organizations, designed to forecast workforce demand, identify gaps, and handle any adjustments needed.

In customer engagement, a separate executive briefing document application was presented. It is a tool that researches a customer's history, related news, and revenue potential, then compiles key information into a single briefing document ahead of meetings. The idea is to reduce the burden of management and administrative tasks.
