Han Dong-hoon and Wife Accused of Faking Children's Volunteer Records

Rep. Kang Deuk-gu of the Democratic Party of Korea announced at a press conference at the National Assembly on the 3rd that he had filed a police complaint against independent Rep. Han Dong-hoon and his wife on charges of falsifying records of their children's volunteer activities.

The Anyang Volunteer Center canceled the registration of a local children's center as a volunteer service recipient, citing false record entries and other reasons. Kang said the documentation of volunteer work requested by the center was never submitted.

Kang argued, "If they pressured a public institution's verification work by raising defamation and legal liability instead of providing evidence, they crossed the line of legitimate objection."
