Democratic Party support falls 2 points from 35% to 33%, locked in a statistical tie with People Power Party
The Democratic Party of Korea stands at 33% and the People Power Party at 28%, widening the gap between the two parties' approval ratings to 5 percentage points.

According to a party support poll released by NBS on the 15th, the Democratic Party of Korea recorded 33% while the People Power Party posted 28%. The 5-point gap falls short of twice the margin of error (±3.1 points, or 6.2 points), meaning the difference is not statistically significant.
Democratic Party Slides for Third Consecutive Poll
The Democratic Party of Korea posted 33% in this survey, down 2 points from 35% in the October 1 poll last month. In the previous survey on September 10, the party stood at 39%, meaning it has shed 6 points in about a month.
Momentum analysis shows the Democratic Party has been on a downward trend for three consecutive polls, sliding from 39% on September 10 to 35% on October 1 and 33% in the latest survey.
People Power Party Gains 3 Points
The People Power Party recorded 28% in this survey, up 3 points from 25% in the October 1 poll.
The party also stood at 25% in the September 10 survey. Rising 3 points in each of the last two surveys, it has gained a cumulative 6 points.
Gap Between the Two Parties
The gap between the two parties was 14 points in the September 10 survey, narrowing to 10 points on October 1 and shrinking further to 5 points this time. As the gap remains within twice the margin of error, the two parties are in a statistical dead heat.
Still, the trend line tells a clearer story: the Democratic Party has declined across three surveys, from 39% to 35% to 33%, while the People Power Party has moved upward from 25% to 25% to 28% over the last two surveys.
