SK Intelix's NAMUHX Robot Adds Self-Following Feature

SK Intelix announced on the 17th that it has added new features, including 'Follow Me,' to its wellness robot 'NAMUHX' through wireless software updates (OTA). The newly added 'Follow Me' function allows the robot to recognize users in real-time, automatically follow them while maintaining a set distance, and respond to voice commands, moving like a pet.

The 'Follow Me' function enhances convenience, allowing users to access wellness services like air quality management and vital sign checks in desired locations without physically moving the robot. Additionally, new features have been applied, including 'Air Shield' for focused management of pollutants such as fine dust, an added check function to medication reminders, and a 'PUSH function' that sends alerts to guardians upon detecting abnormal vital signs.

SK Intelix plans to sequentially introduce other features, such as the 'Security' function that garnered attention at MWC 2026, security services, and a 'Healthcare Chatbot' for integrated analysis of vital signs. The company aims to evolve NAMUHX into an integrated wellness platform based on 'Agentic AI'.

NAMUHX was previously integrated with Google's AI model 'Gemini' in January.
