President Lee Jae-myung Urges Mature Citizenry Ahead of BTS Concert
President Lee Jae-myung has requested the public to show mature civic consciousness ahead of the Bangtan Boys (BTS) concert at Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on the 18th, President Lee expressed his expectation that the BTS concert on the 21st will be a meaningful time to share the charm of K-culture with 'Arirang' as the theme. He added that he hopes this BTS concert will demonstrate the power of Korean culture and become a special moment long remembered by people worldwide.
President Lee explained that comprehensive preparations are being made in cooperation with relevant ministries, local governments, police, and fire departments to ensure the event proceeds safely, covering traffic and crowd management as well as emergency response.
President Lee expressed his belief that the public will cooperate by showing consideration for one another and maintaining order, urging them to follow the guidance of on-site safety personnel and report any instances of ticket scalping.
