Political YouTuber Sung Je-jun booked for drunk driving in Seoul's Gangnam

YouTuber Sung Je-jun, known for critiquing political issues for his subscribers, is facing police investigation after driving under the influence in Gangnam, Seoul. Mr. Sung was reportedly driving his Porsche sedan at the time, and his blood alcohol content was found to be at a level requiring license suspension.

On his YouTube channel on the 19th, Mr. Sung explained that he was caught after moving his vehicle for approximately five seconds at the request of a valet employee, while he had consumed one glass of wine. He added that he had already called for a designated driver and was waiting at the time.

Mr. Sung had previously posted a video on his YouTube channel in August 2024 criticizing Representative Lee Jae-myung's drunk driving record.
