Samsung Unveils New Galaxy A Series with Enhanced AI Features

Samsung Electronics will officially launch its mid-range smartphones, the 'Galaxy A37' and 'Galaxy A57', in the global market on April 10th. The new devices boast enhanced AI capabilities and are equipped with Samsung's proprietary chipsets. Aimed at users seeking advanced AI functionality, the new models offer features like text conversion and translation for voice recordings, while the Galaxy A57 also includes new camera functions such as 'Best Face' and 'Auto Trim'.

The Galaxy A37 will feature the Exynos 1480 chipset, while the Galaxy A57 will be powered by the Exynos 1680. In a shift from the previous generation, the Galaxy A36 which utilized a Qualcomm processor, these new models exclusively adopt Samsung's Exynos chipsets.

Influenced by rising memory prices, the launch prices have been increased compared to their predecessors. Based on the UK market, the Galaxy A57 is approximately ₩60,000 more expensive than its predecessor, while the Galaxy A37 sees a price hike of up to ₩110,000 depending on the model. Roh Tae-moon, President of Samsung Electronics, stated that the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 will provide reliable performance in the daily lives of users worldwide and accelerate the spread of AI.
