Elon Musk's xAI Sees All Co-founders Depart
It has been confirmed that all 11 co-founders of xAI, the artificial intelligence (AI) company founded by Elon Musk, have left the company. The last remaining co-founder at xAI, Ross Nodine, recently resigned. Nodine, who is from Tesla's autonomous driving team and joined xAI from its early stages, his departure was confirmed when his affiliation with xAI disappeared from his social media accounts.
This large-scale departure appears to have intensified following criticism that some of xAI's AI models generated inappropriate content. Regarding the personnel exodus, Musk stated, "The talent needed in the early stage and growth stage are different," adding, "There are almost no departures that I regret." He also emphasized, "xAI was not built perfectly from the start, so we are rebuilding from the ground up."
xAI is reportedly in the process of reorganizing its structure by recruiting talent in the AI coding field.
