Trump Declares Victory, Military Objectives Achieved

US President Donald Trump declared on the 7th (local time) that he had achieved his military objectives, announcing a two-week ceasefire with Iran. In a call with the UK's Sky News, President Trump described the ceasefire as America's "complete victory," stating, "We have achieved everything we wanted to militarily."

Just before the ceasefire agreement, US administration officials were reportedly preparing large-scale bombing operations on Iran's key infrastructure following President Trump's orders. President Trump made it clear that he could attack Iran again if negotiations on a peace settlement with Iran do not proceed as desired.

Iran's Supreme National Security Council, in a statement, claimed victory in the war with the United States and Israel and asserted that the US had fully accepted Iran's 10-point peace plan.

The current ceasefire agreement was reportedly finalized following directives from Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, with the negotiation period extended by two weeks at the request of the Pakistani Prime Minister five hours before the deadline.
