Former Presidential National Security Office First Chief Kim Tae-hyo has been booked on charges of engaging in important tasks related to rebellion/insurrection, specifically for allegedly arranging the delivery of messages to allies like the United States to persuade them of the legitimacy of the December 3rd emergency martial law.

The second comprehensive special investigation team searched and seized the former deputy chief's home and university lab, securing mobile phones and computers, and is proceeding with the investigation based on these findings. The special investigation team plans to identify call recipients and conversation content during the martial law period through the secured materials.

The special investigation team also booked Shin Won-sik, former chief of the Presidential National Security Office and superior to Kim, and former President Yoon, on charges of abuse of power.

Special Prosecutor Kim Ji-mi appeared on a pro-government YouTube channel to explain the ongoing investigation into the case.
