In the latter half of this year, artworks by South Korean youth selected through Boryeong Co.'s 'HIS Youth' program will journey to the Moon aboard the 'Nova-C' lunar probe by a U.S. private company. The works destined for the Moon will be stored on a digital storage device called a 'Luna Time Capsule' and will be part of the 'IM-3' lunar exploration mission by U.S. space company Intuitive Machines, holding symbolic significance in connecting future generations with the present.

This lunar exploration project is being promoted as part of 'Humans In Space Youth (HIS Youth),' a youth space and space medicine competition jointly operated by Boryeong Co., Ltd. and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity.

In the HIS Youth program, elementary school students submit drawings on the theme 'Space and Human Health,' and the award-winning works from the elementary school divisions of 2025 and 2026 will be included in this lunar mission.

Boryeong CEO Kim Jeong-gyun stated that through this program, young people of future generations can imagine and participate by connecting space and life sciences, and their messages will be recorded in the history of South Korea's lunar exploration.
