KERI Hosts AI Science Experience Event to Mark Electricity Day

The Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI), dedicated to electricity research, celebrated the 61st Electricity Day by hosting an exciting science experience event for about 500 students from local special schools, featuring artificial intelligence (AI). The event was composed of tailored content such as 'AI Drawing Coding,' 'AI Caricature,' and 'AI Body Action,' allowing students to experience and engage with AI technologies using their five senses.

This event was designed to foster students' interest in science by introducing them to future technologies like AI in an easy and fun way. 'Visiting Electric Classroom,' a representative science and culture outreach activity of KERI, is a program prepared to increase understanding and interest in electricity, energy, and science and technology for science underprivileged groups.

Kim Nam-gyun, President of KERI, referencing the institute's 50th anniversary, stated, "We will continue to expand opportunities for everyone to enjoy the pleasure of science without being left behind, not only through events like this planned for Electricity Day but also in the future."
