Lee Jong-bae Files Complaint Against Investigators Over Dropped Charges for Jeon Jae-soo

Former Seoul City Councilman Lee Jong-bae has submitted a complaint to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against the heads of the joint prosecution-police investigation headquarters, citing charges of legal distortion and special dereliction of duty.

The former councilman argued that the investigation headquarters' decision to drop charges against Jeon Jae-soo, citing reasons such as "difficulty in specifying the amount" or "difficulty in confirming it was over 30 million won," constituted a violation of laws or an improper application of law that influenced the investigation's outcome.
