President Lee Jae-myung Accelerates Sejong Presidential Office Construction
The Presidential Office will announce the tender notice for the Sejong Presidential Office construction on the 15th, following President Lee Jae-myung's directive.
In December last year, President Lee Jae-myung instructed Kang Ju-yeop, head of the Happy City Construction Agency (HCA), to expedite the construction timeline for the Sejong Presidential Office during a performance report meeting.
President Lee urged haste regarding the presidential office construction, which is aiming for completion in 2030. He also commented that the schedule for building the National Assembly building in Sejong is too slow, questioning if there is any reason to delay it until 2029.
