IBK Investment & Securities Lands Generative AI Project Contract

Wonlin.ai, a specialist in financial generative AI, and Finger, a specialist in internet-based software (SaaS), announced on the 14th that they have formed a consortium and secured IBK Investment & Securities' 'Generative AI Internalization Project.' This initiative is designed to enhance internal work efficiency at IBK Investment & Securities and promote the intelligence of its customer-facing investment services.

Wonlin.ai (CEO Jeong Han-eol) will oversee the supply of the core language model and the development of the enterprise-wide AI system, while Finger (CEO Ahn In-ju) will serve as the lead contractor responsible for system construction and project management.

Wonlin.ai's core strength lies in the integration of external financial data and internal customer data. The strategy involves collecting and analyzing a vast amount of external data, including domestic and international stock market conditions, dividend information, economic indicators, and news—exceeding 1,000 data points—and linking it with internal customer data to implement hyper-personalized financial services. The project will utilize Wonlin.ai's finance-specific language model, 'OLA-F,' which is optimized for the complex regulations, specialized terminology, and numerical reasoning of the securities industry, designed for higher accuracy compared to general-purpose AI.

Based on this, the company plans to implement enterprise-wide AI internalization, including enhancing internal regulation search functions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), automating meeting minutes through Speech-to-Text (STT), and generating customized sales reports for sales staff.

This contract award stems from a long history of collaboration between the two companies. Finger and Wonlin.ai previously partnered on IBK Investment & Securities' AI investment chatbot project and a proof-of-concept (PoC) for generative AI services.
