Next Securities, Hana Bank Sign MOU to Boost Foreign Investment

Aiming to attract more foreign capital into the Korean securities market, Next Securities and Hana Bank signed a business agreement on the 15th to support foreign exchange transactions and custody services for foreign investors' assets.

This agreement was pursued in line with the government's capital market advancement policies, such as the reform of the foreign exchange market structure and the introduction of integrated trading accounts for foreign equities.

The two companies will share real-time exchange rate information and support transactions using FX APIs, while strengthening custody services for foreign securities investment to facilitate settlement for overseas securities firms in domestic exchanges. They will also offer a 24-hour real-time exchange rate application service for overseas investors.
