Iran Partially Reopens Airspace Ahead of Post-War Talks
The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization announced that it would partially reopen a portion of its eastern airspace, which had been closed for 49 days due to the outbreak of war with Israel and the US, for international flights. This measure signals a change in air traffic routes in the Middle East ahead of the second round of post-war talks.
However, no aircraft were confirmed passing through Iranian airspace after the announcement, and flights were observed continuing to use routes bypassing Iranian airspace.
The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization also announced the resumption of operations at some airports.
