Domestic Oil Prices Rise as International Crude Surpasses $120
International oil prices have been rising daily, with Brent crude futures surpassing $120 during intraday trading. As oil prices continue to climb, this could affect consumer prices.
Consequently, average domestic gasoline and diesel prices saw a slight increase on the 30th. According to Korea National Oil Corporation's price information system, Opinet, as of 9 a.m. on the 30th, the average gasoline price at gas stations nationwide rose by 0.1 won from the previous day to 2,009.2 won per liter, while the average diesel price rose by 0.05 won from the previous day to 2,003.3 won per liter.
The government stated it is closely monitoring international oil price fluctuations and reviewing countermeasures to minimize their impact on the domestic market.
