Crew Rescues Person Adrift After Hearing Desperate 'Help Me' Cry After 12 Hours

Sailors discovered and rescued a person who had been adrift at sea for 12 hours. On the night of the 25th of last month, the crew of the Changyangho heard urgent shouts of "Help me" in the East Sea. Immediately sounding the ship's horn and scanning the area, they spotted a faint light from the water, found the person adrift, and rescued them.

The rescued individual is believed to have gone missing while engaged in underwater leisure activities in the waters near Jukbyeon, Uljin.

Upon learning of the rescue, the Donghae Coast Guard presented a letter of appreciation to the cement carrier 'Changyangho' for saving a life.
