Iran Attacks UAE Oil Facilities
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) detected four cruise missiles originating from Iran and intercepted three of them over its territorial waters, marking the first such incident since a ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran last month. The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on the 4th (local time) that it intercepted three cruise missiles launched from Iran over its territorial waters, with one falling into the sea.
This attack is the first incident involving Iranian projectiles against the UAE since the U.S. and Iran agreed to a ceasefire on April 8.
Furthermore, two drones launched from Iran attacked one oil tanker belonging to the state-owned oil company ANDOC in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone. No casualties were reported from this incident.
