An incident where a 2-year-old child was assaulted by a stranger in an Incheon park has led to police investigation. The suspect, a man in his 60s, has been booked on charges of child abuse.

The Bupyeong Police Station in Incheon arrested a 60-year-old man, identified as Mr. A, on the scene yesterday afternoon. He is accused of hitting a 2-year-old child on the back of the head, causing injury, at a park in Bupyeong District. Mr. B's parents shared details of the incident on social media. They stated, "Our child was assaulted by an adult male he had never met before in a park he usually loves." They added, "The perpetrator was released after questioning." They expressed their fear that he could reappear in their neighborhood at any time, describing the incident as the beginning of a lifelong nightmare for their child, which began on Children's Day.
