Trump Warns EU of Tariffs If Trade Deal Not Ratified by July 4
U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that he will impose retaliatory tariffs on the European Union if a trade agreement is not ratified by July 4.
President Trump made his stance known through the social media platform 'Truth Social'.
The EU had promised to lower tariffs to 'zero' through a trade agreement reached last year in Turnberry, Scotland, but tariffs could be raised if European Parliament approval is not granted by July 4.
