Netflix to Create Animated Shorts Using AI

Netflix is creating new animated shorts using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. To this end, it has established an in-house studio called 'INKubator' dedicated to AI-powered content creation and is recruiting relevant experts.

This studio aims to explore new methods of animation production using AI, spearheaded by filmmakers and artists.

Netflix first introduced AI-generated scenes in the Argentinian drama 'El Eternauta' in July, and co-CEO Ted Sarandos has stated that AI will contribute to cost reduction in production.
