Public Opinion in Daegu/Gyeongbuk Shifts from Supporting Government Stability to Demanding Oversight
Public sentiment in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk region has shifted from supporting 'state affairs stability' to favoring 'government oversight,' according to the results of the National Barometer Survey (NBS) released on the 21st.
Compared to the survey two weeks prior, the proportion favoring government oversight in Daegu and Gyeongbuk rose from 43% to 47%, while support for state affairs stability dropped from 46% to 37%, resulting in a reversal.
In this NBS survey, 73% of respondents identified as 'definite voters.' 'Possible voters' accounted for 18%, and those who 'are unlikely to vote or have no intention of voting' made up 9%.
