Samsung Electronics Labor Union Vote Exceeds 86% Turnout

Samsung Electronics' labor union vote on the provisional agreement for the 2026 wage and collective bargaining agreement has surpassed an 86% turnout just four days after it began.

According to the Samsung Electronics branch of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU), 49,363 out of 57,291 eligible voters participated, recording an 86.16% turnout. This vote was conducted to gauge union members' approval or disapproval of the provisional agreement for the 2026 wage and collective bargaining agreement.

This marks a significant step in the process for both labor and management to reach a new agreement.
