People Power Party Launches Full-Scale Offensive to Judge 'Lee Jae-myung's Dictatorship and Economic Ruin'

Ahead of the local elections on the 26th, the People Power Party launched a full-scale offensive, demanding judgment on what they called the 'Lee Jae-myung administration's dictatorship and collapse of public welfare.' Jang Dong-hyuk, Standing Election Committee Chairman, defined the upcoming election as the 'last opportunity to rectify Lee Jae-myung's dictatorship and the ruin of public livelihoods,' strategizing to take the lead in the election by highlighting the allegations against Democratic Party candidates.

At a press conference, Chairman Jang criticized the government's economic policy failures, stating that despite people's lives becoming difficult due to the 'three highs' phenomenon – high inflation, high interest rates, and high exchange rates – the administration has ignored public welfare. He called Democratic Party candidates 'accomplices to Lee Jae-myung's dictatorship,' listing disqualifying cases, and emphasized that People Power Party candidates are 'proven workers.' Co-Chairman Song Eon-seok urged a complete overhaul of economic policy and the dismissal of the economic command tower, pointing out that the government's complacent governance exacerbates public suffering.

Jang Dong-hyuk stated, 'Stopping Lee Jae-myung's dictatorship is the path to protecting our own lives and the future of South Korea.'

Policy Committee Chairman Jeong Jeong-sik promised 'overwhelming completion' by announcing tailored transportation and housing infrastructure pledges for each of Seoul's 25 districts.

The People Power Party continued its offensive by filing complaints at the central party level regarding Democratic Party candidates' alleged involvement with clandestine loan businesses and controversies surrounding illegal election campaigns.

The People Power Party visited the site of the collapsed Seosomun overpass accident in Seoul to mourn the victims. Chairman Jang Dong-hyuk emphasized the importance of managing the accident site and stated that the party would provide as much assistance as possible if there were roles to play.
