Busan Man in his 70s Arrested for Verbally Abusing, Threatening Public Institution Employees
A man in his 70s has been sent to the prosecution in Busan on charges of repeatedly calling and visiting public institutions to verbally abuse and threaten employees. The man, reportedly disgruntled over the processing of his basic livelihood security benefits, is understood to have contacted various public institutions more than 100 times over approximately two months, harassing public officials.
Mr. A's actions were not limited to government offices. He also visited apartment management offices, social welfare centers, and hospitals, engaging in similar behavior. This has been confirmed to have obstructed the normal work of social workers and institutional staff.
Police conducted an investigation into the full extent of the victimisation, focusing on the suspect's residence and nearby public institutions.
