Seoul Mayoral Candidates to Hold First Joint Debate on May 28
On May 28, the day before early voting, four Seoul mayoral candidates running in the June 3 local elections will participate in their first joint public debate. The candidates include Jung Dong-oh of the Democratic Party, Oh Se-hoon of the People Power Party, Kim Jung-chul of the Reform Party, and Kwon Young-guk of the Justice Party. The debate will be held at SBS Prism Tower.
In a poll conducted from May 24 to 26 among 800 Seoul voters, candidate Jung Dong-oh recorded 49.6% support, while candidate Oh Se-hoon garnered 36.4%. The gap between the two candidates was 13.2 percentage points.
The response rate for the poll was 9.8%, with a margin of error of ±3.5 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
