Democratic Party Files Complaint Against People Power Party's Daejeon Dong-gu Mayoralty Candidate

The legal support team of the Democratic Party's Daejeon City Chapter Election Committee filed a complaint on the 28th against Park Hee-jo, the People Power Party's candidate for Dong-gu Mayor, for alleged violations of the Public Official Election Act and Political Funds Act.

The Democratic Party cited the omission of Park Hee-jo's criminal record and the understatement of his assets in the candidate's election bulletin as problematic issues.

With the bulletin already printed and distributed, the Democratic Party called for an investigation into allegations of administrative power mobilization and use during the process of correcting the bulletin.
