Jeong Won-oh files police complaint against Oh Se-hoon's camp over alleged 'defamatory content distribution'

The camp of Seoul mayoral candidate Jeong Won-oh of the Democratic Party of Korea has filed a police complaint, alleging that the campaign of rival Seoul mayoral candidate Oh Se-hoon of the People Power Party systematically created and distributed defamatory content about Jeong.

Jeong's camp claimed that a campaign official was heard saying, "I came up with the idea for the 'Jeong Won-oh Juche ideology' content," and stated they had confirmed circumstances indicating that related content was spread through group chats and that its distribution performance was even managed.

Oh Se-hoon's camp refuted the claims, stating it was the first they had heard of the allegations and calling them an unreasonable assertion made out of desperation with the election approaching.
