Ulsan Superintendent Candidate Kim Ju-hong Files Complaint Against Rival Jo Yong-sik Over Alleged False Information
On June 1, two days before the June 3 local elections, Ulsan Superintendent candidate Kim Ju-hong filed a complaint with the Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency against candidate Jo Yong-sik, accusing him of spreading false information in violation of the Public Official Election Act.
Jo Yong-sik's camp stated that the candidate's 24 years and 10 months of teaching experience excludes administrative roles, and that his official employment certificate from the Office of Education shows 25 years and 5 months.
Furthermore, Jo's teaching experience includes periods as a dispatched teacher, and all campaign materials used have undergone prior review by the election committee, his camp added.
