Man in 50s Arrested for Fatally Stabbing Coworker in Pyeongtaek

A man in his 50s has been arrested after fatally stabbing a workplace colleague in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

Police apprehended the suspect, identified as Mr. A, a man in his 50s, at the scene and are investigating him on murder charges. Mr. A is understood to have stabbed his colleague, Mr. B, a man in his 30s, with a weapon near the company dormitory early on the 12th.

Police, responding to a witness report immediately after the incident, arrested Mr. A as a suspect caught in the act. Mr. B was taken to the hospital but died approximately one hour later.

Police believe Mr. A committed the crime following an argument with Mr. B. As Mr. A was intoxicated at the time of the offense and unable to be questioned, the detailed circumstances will be clarified through further investigation.
