Doosan, LG CNS Partner on AI, Hydrogen, Robotics for Future Business

Doosan and LG CNS have signed a business agreement to cooperate in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), eco-friendly hydrogen energy, and robotics. The two companies signed an agreement on the 18th at LG Sciencepark in Magok-dong, Seoul, to secure global competitiveness in four business areas: data centers, hydrogen drone logistics, AI transformation (AX), and robot transformation (RX).

In the infrastructure sector, Doosan Mobility Innovation's hydrogen fuel cells will be introduced to LG CNS's data center business. In the logistics sector, specific plans for collaboration will be devised to fully commercialize the hydrogen fuel cell-based vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft logistics business, which has been pursued since 2025.

In the robot and AI sector, Doosan's hydrogen fuel cell technology will be combined with LG CNS's robot learning and operation platform 'PhysicalWorks.' Additionally, application models and a roadmap will be established to strengthen Doosan's agentic AI competitiveness based on LG CNS's enterprise agentic AI platform. They will also cooperate on building autonomous maintenance systems (predictive maintenance) that integrate agentic AI, hydrogen drones, and digital twin technologies for large-scale manufacturing and power generation facilities and plants.
