9 Stocks, Including Dasco, Close at Daily Upper Limit

Jeong Gye-doo, managing director at Yuanta Securities Gwangju WM Center, commented, "Bohae Makgeolli, which owns real estate assets such as its Jangseong factory site, may have seen increased trading as investors sought alternative assets."

On the KOSDAQ market, semiconductor-related technology announcements led to sharp stock price increases. JNT closed up 29.95% at 21,000 won. The company's announcement of successfully developing the world's first 2.0mm thick high-difficulty glass-tube glass (TGV) substrate served as a direct catalyst for the surge. Hanul Semiconductor closed up 29.98% at 17,820 won, driven by news of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Murata, the global No. 1 MLCC company, for the development of high-performance MLCC manufacturing equipment. CP System closed up 29.88% (735 won) from the previous trading day at 3,195 won. The company announced that it is supplying its high-purity cable protection solution 'G-Clean Chain' for domestic semiconductor equipment applied in Intel's U.S. factories, and that the product has obtained the highest cleanroom grade, 'ISO Class 1' certification from the German certification body Fraunhofer IPA.

Samik Pharm closed up 29.98% at 8,410 won. The stock reacted following Health and Welfare Minister Jeong Eun-kyung's statement on the 11th that the ministry would pursue a review for expanding health insurance coverage for hair loss treatments in the latter half of the year. Samik Pharm had previously announced in January that it had secured technology patents to convert 'Baricitinib,' a JAK inhibitor used for treating alopecia areata, into a long-acting injectable formulation with monthly administration.

Hyungji I&C closed up 29.94% at 3,515 won. CJ Medtech and Kangdong C&L also joined the list of KOSDAQ stocks that reached their daily upper limit and closed at that price on the day.
