Democratic Party Leader Jeong Cheong-rae Visits Honam Region to Hear Women's Policy Perspectives

Chung Jin-rae, leader of the Democratic Party, visited Mokpo, Jeonnam, on the 23rd to hear firsthand accounts of women's policies.

He attended an event titled 'Dialogue with Special Citizens - Listening to Women,' organized by Min Hyung-bae, the presumptive mayor-elect for the integrated special city of Jeonnam-Gwangju.

In his opening remarks at the event, Chung said, 'I came to hear what the women's policies will be for the integrated special city of Jeonnam-Gwangju.' He added, 'We must reflect on whether society is properly recognizing the discrimination and hardships women face.'
