Daegu Seo-gu District Holds Welfare Guidance, Fraud Prevention Training for New Livelihood Security Recipients

Daegu's Seo-gu District, in cooperation with two local welfare centers, has conducted training for 100 individuals newly designated as recipients of basic livelihood security benefits. The program provided guidance on necessary welfare benefits and education on preventing improper claims. This initiative was established to help low-income residents properly understand and correctly utilize the support systems.

Seo-gu District focused on enabling new recipients to obtain essential welfare information and prevent fraudulent claims through its partnership with welfare centers.

District Mayor Ryu Han-kug announced that the training was prepared to enhance new recipients' understanding of their rights and obligations and to support their use of the welfare system. The training sessions were held over two days, on the 23rd and 25th.
