Hancom Completes Generative AI Chatbot System for Korea Western Power

Hancom has completed the company-wide system implementation for Korea Western Power. The system, which integrates the AI document writing solution 'Hancom Assistant' into the generative AI chatbot 'WippyBot', was developed with the core objective of supplying a customized AI platform capable of utilizing vast internal knowledge in real-time within the public power sector, where security is critically important.

To verify security and practicality, both companies underwent a Proof of Concept (PoC) process for approximately 1 year and 3 months, starting in October 2024.

This project will connect in real-time with approximately 720,000 internal data items held by Korea Western Power, including company regulations, laws, and safety data. This will enable employees to instantly leverage relevant regulations and work information during report writing.
