LG Electronics has officially kicked off the era of artificial intelligence (AI) based robot home appliances by establishing the 'Robotics Business Center' dedicated to its robot business and launching 'Roni,' a robot vacuum cleaner with dual functionality.

Market competition is intensifying, with rivals like Samsung Electronics also seeing their new robot vacuum cleaner models surpass 20,000 units sold in May.
