Savings Bank Names to Be Clearly Indicated in Mobile Banking Transfers
Starting on the 1st of next month, users will be able to accurately confirm the recipient's savings bank name when sending money via mobile banking.
This change by the financial sector is intended to help victims of voice phishing quickly recognize and respond if their money is sent to the wrong account.
Administrative procedures have been reorganized to allow victims of voice phishing and individuals whose accounts have been unfairly frozen to proceed with remedy procedures and file objections online, without needing to visit a branch. This will enable faster fund refunds and minimize losses in the event of financial fraud.
