Samsung, LG to Bolster AI Tech and Products in Second Half

Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are set to make their mark in the second half of the year with AI technology. Samsung will diversify its foldable phone lineup, while LG will fully launch its AI-optimized portable screen overseas, aiming to capture global markets.

Samsung Electronics recently hosted the 'SAFE Forum 2026' to share AI semiconductor ecosystem collaboration plans and next-generation foundry technology strategies with clients and partners. LG Electronics has begun a phased rollout of 'LG StanbyME 2 Max' in major global markets including North America and Europe, aiming to lead the market with its AI picture optimization features.
