Google AI Search Hits All-Time High During Argentina Victory

Google Senior Vice President Nick Fox revealed that on the 7th (local time), immediately following Argentina's winning goal, Google Search recorded the highest number of queries per second (QPS) in history, setting a new all-time record for usage.

Argentina secured a dramatic comeback victory after being down 0-2, and searches related to rules and regulations surged significantly after the match due to Video Assistant Referee (VAR) decisions.

According to data released by Google, the most searched keyword on that day was 'Argentina vs Egypt,' followed by various queries regarding players and regulations such as 'Messi's World Cup goals,' 'Is this Messi's last World Cup,' and 'What is the term for hitting another player'.
