Joo Jin-woo Rebutts Lee Jun-seok's Election Rigging Claims, Citing 'Moths'

Reform Party leader Lee Jun-seok and People Power Party Rep. Joo Jin-woo clashed on the 12th over the detention of former Busan mayoral candidate Jeong Yi-han, invoking claims of 'election rigging' and 'brazen cheek.' Leader Lee argued that the People Power Party was behind the scenes of Jeong's staged scheme, stating, 'I don’t know if someone rigged this or if these moths are just acting up on their own.'

Rep. Joo alleged that despite securing a confession, the police delayed the investigation and announcement to allow the election to proceed, stating he would criminally report the responsible police leadership for charges including abuse of authority and obstruction of the exercise of rights.
