President Lee Jae-myung's Approval Rating Rises for Second Consecutive Week
A survey released by Realmeter on the 13th showed that President Lee Jae-myung's positive job approval index rose 1.9 percentage points from the previous week to 48.9%, marking an increase for the second consecutive week. Changes in support by age group showed divergent trends: support among those in their 20s surged by 6.8 percentage points compared to the previous week, while support among those in their 30s fell by 3.4 percentage points.
In terms of party support, the Democratic Party of Korea recorded 44.8%, up 1.8 percentage points from the previous week, outpacing the People Power Party (38.1%, down 2.2 percentage points).
The margin of error for this survey is ±2.0 percentage points for presidential approval and ±3.1 percentage points for party support, both at a 95% confidence level.
