Body Found in Car in Gimpo, Gyeonggi... Male Reporter Dies After Jumping, Police Investigate

In the early hours of the 14th, the body of a woman in her 50s was discovered in a parked car in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province.

At around 5:05 a.m. on the 14th, a report stating "I killed someone" was received at the 112 emergency center. Police identified the residence of the caller, 65-year-old Mr. Park, and dispatched to an apartment in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, but confirmed before arrival that he had already died after jumping from the 20th floor. Mr. Park was found dead after jumping during the police pursuit.

Investigating authorities secured a note with the location of the scene at Mr. Park's residence and found the body of the victim, covered by a blanket in the backseat of a car parked on a road in Gimpo, around 6:50 a.m., about two hours after the report.
