On the 15th, Jung Geun, chairman of the On Group and father of former candidate Jung Yi-han who was detained on charges of staging a 'self-manufactured incident,' remained silent, evading reporters' questions during his attendance at an appeals trial. He declined to answer questions regarding whether he had prior knowledge of his son's crimes or his stance on the election interference allegations.

Chairman Jung attended the appeals hearing at the Busan High Court on the same day after being fined 4 million won in the first trial on charges of campaigning to hospital staff. Even while surrounded by reporters, he briefly replied, "I have nothing to say," effectively avoiding questions related to the election suspicions.

On the same day, the police launched an investigation into whether the group was involved in election interference, conducting a search and seizure of an On Group affiliate hospital run by a close associate of Chairman Jung. This includes examining allegations that the former candidate's campaign instructed employees to write supportive comments and join the political party.
