OpenAI CEO Sam Altman met with President Lee Jae-myung, who was attending the 'AI Summit' in San Francisco, USA, on the 24th (local time). During their meeting, Altman stated that in the AI era, distributing company shares to the public is a more effective approach than giving out cash. President Lee outlined Korea's plans to nurture its AI industry and asked Altman about "methods for wealth distribution in the AI era," prompting Altman to share his views. This was disclosed by Senior Presidential Secretary for Public Affairs Kang Yoo-jung during a press briefing.
