Apple Considers Paid Subscription for AI 'Siri'

Apple's 'Siri' could become a paid service. Apple has officially hinted at the possibility of imposing separate fees on heavy users of 'Siri,' the voice assistant significantly upgraded with artificial intelligence (AI).

U.S. IT media Axios reported on the 30th (local time) that Apple CEO Tim Cook explained during an earnings conference call, "If users want to use Siri features extensively, we could resolve the cost issue by upgrading the current paid cloud service, 'iCloud+.'"

Meanwhile, Apple also revealed that a subscription to the paid iCloud service will be required to use new home security features to be included in the upcoming operating system.
